Striking new house, South County Dublin

A contemporary family home located within a backland suburban site. It's not often that we are presented with a triangular site for a new dwelling, however the form of this house evolved to take best advantage of the unusual site geometry and the client's desire to maximise natural light.

Whitelodge, Dun Laoghaire

This project involves the restoration and extension of a listed Georgian house. The extension, while contemporary in nature, complements the existing Georgian house without compromising the requirements of modern-day family life.

Dalkey, County Dublin

Recently granted planning, this proposed dwelling sits comfortably within its sensitive and dramatic surroundings. Due to its topography, the building gains a viewpoint condition, maximising available views of Bray and Dalkey Island.

The design of this dwelling is a direct response to the understanding of the place and the client's goals and aspirations.

Victorian refurbishment, Ranelagh

Using oversized roof lights to flood the interiors with light and contrasting with more intimate, darker spaces, this project involved the extension and refurbishment of a small, two-storey, 130 year old terraced house into a spacious family home.
