Project Description

The project consists of two new mews houses on a site with a fantastic view of Ireland's Eye and Howth Harbour.

The houses are energy-efficient, modern in design, are sustainable and take advantage of the specific site and views. The design was deliberately low avoiding impacting on the views from the adjoining street despite these views not being protected. The houses are south facing with high super insulated walls, triple glazed windows, geothermal heating system, heat recovery ventilation and have been designed to achieve an A2 BER rating.

Ireland's Eye is a well known landmark visible from many parts of Dublin city and county and the houses were designed to make best use of this feature as well as taking advantage of the views across Howth Harbour.
